My friend Jeremy Hall (many have heard me talk about him, an amazing photgrapher, and videographer) has just posted one of the most amazing nature videos I have ever seen.

You know, there are times when we can all let our businesses get to us. We can get so busy we fail to realize how precious life really is. Sometimes we need to just let go and observe and truly listen to nature, and rest our minds… knowing that life is a gift, and we need to cherish it every moment we can.

I just wanted to share something interesting I noticed from the video I published yesterday on scribd. One thing you can do is repurpose your existing articles as videos by using powerpoint presentations, or the free version of powerpoint from OpenOffice.org.

You can essentially take your articles, and make presentations and do screen capture of that presentation, and publish as a video.. you can also use Jing.com’s free screen capture video software to make up to 5 minute videos.

Then hop over to TubeMogul.com and upload to multiple video directories.

One of the biggest things you can do to get more free traffic is to repurpose your existing content. What that means is to take existing articles, and transform them into different types of media (in this case, pdf files or word docs) and then re-distribute them to different sites that accept these new forms of content.

One of the best ones is scribd.com. In the video below I talk a little bit about how I took an existing article and turned it into a pdf, then uploaded to scribd. Enjoy!

Sorry it’s been a couple weeks, but i’ve been super busy with some new projects, plus the holiday weekend kept me pretty busy too with the family!

At any rate, something I was thinking about this morning…

With all of the product launches floating around lately, I wanted to talk about a few things. First, what is all the talk about “secrets”? Are there any real secrets?

I hate to burst anyone’s bubble here, but there aren’t any real secrets. There are however, tested and proven methods that can help you become successful.

The best way to explain this, is think about a real brick and mortar business that is successful in your town. What is their secret? Did they stumble upon some easy method to rake in cash?

Or did they work hard, hit the right market, improve their service/products over time and dominate that particular market?

It’s no different in Internet business. Sure, there may be a method that can make you fast cash, but most likely it will not be long term.

Here’s the real secret; Hard work, approaching the right market, and improving things over time so you’re continually ahead of your competitors.
